::Our Navy Life is Almost Over:: PART 2

--> Let me just say it's amazing how much things can change in a week! All Greg and i knew was that he was getting out May 1st. He's been talking to recruiters and updating his resume since december/january. They all seemed eager to help him out which is great. And Greg has just been waiting on some news. Then all of sudden he got a call and had three interviews last monday! He went straight from work, picked out a suit, and off he went. The interviews went really well for him!! so proud!:) And hes going to get a second on-sight interview just not sure when. Im not going to give the names of the companies or locations yet (at least on here) because its still to early to know whats happening. But i will let you know when we figure more things out.



 
 Greg also has alot of leave saved up! He just didnt know what was going on with that or when he would take it until this week. He got fed up because they changed his schedule to an even crappier one. (haha surprise surprise) He came home so unhappy and happy at the same time. ill explain...at least he had days off before. They changed it so he wouldnt. Unless of course it was the weekend that he didnt have duty (which means he has to stay on the ship). And his duty days have been two in a row every two days. At this point he can care less about the ship. He's so ready to be done already. So--- hes on leave right now actually for two weeks. He goes for TAP class March 15-19

( in case you dont know--This is a class to help with transitioning out of the military) After that, He goes on leave again until mid April. then he has only two weeks left! CRAZY huh?! im surprised they actually approved it. But, they knew he's getting out soon and needs this time for job hunting, interviews, traveling for on site interviews,apartment/house hunting...etc. it just all happened so fast. and i cant believe it.

He's so HAPPY!:)
